Inspiration:
This painting is done with acrylic paint on a plastic paper called Yupo. In these paintings I am inspired by the sometimes chaotic beauty of nature and by the work of abstract expressionist painters coming before me.
Meet the Artist
Formerly a career counselor at Harvard University, Wilson Hunt retired eleven years ago and have been living his dream job since that time. Although, he have studied painting at many art schools over a period of many years, he never saw the need to acquire a degree in art. Hunt’s undergraduate degree is in psychology. Currently, he shows widely in Boston and surrounding and distant suburbs, with over 30 shows in the past two years. He has resonated with the saying, “Take your broken heart and make art.”
